2013 Annual Field Day

August 7, 2013 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Faculty and staff at the New Mexico State University Agricultural Science Center at Clovis would like to welcome you to the Center's Annual Field day on Wednesday, August 7th, 2013 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Lunch will be provided following the tour. The purpose of the field day is to bring farmers, ranchers, dairies, industry, extension agents, and NMSU researchers together to visit/interact with each other and share ideas/opinions about different cultural practices. Everybody will have a chance to ask questions and get answers one-on-one. "Seeing is believing" is another purpose of the field day, during which everybody will have the opportunity to visit the ongoing research and see first-hand to see "what does work" and "what does not". The faculty at the center are involved with several projects including; water stress, fertility, weed management, and variety trials in wheat, sorghum, corn, cotton, canola, safflower, guar, and peanut breeding. We welcome your questions, comments, and suggestions and hope that you will be a frequent visitor to your NMSU Agricultural Science Center at Clovis.
